DNA-Protein Binding Analysis

ChIP-on-chip DNA microarrays can be used to map functional elements or
binding sites for transcription factors in the genome. These platforms
allow the monitoring of DNA sequences with specific protein binding to
regions around e.g. the human and mouse promoters, yeast genome as well as
to defined regions of the genome such as the Human ENCODE region.
Novel regions involved in transcriptional regulation can be identified
using Affymetrix and Nimblegen whole genome tiling arrays. In addition,
custom ChIP-on-chip arrays can be constructed for almost any organism
using custom array services available in Affymetrix, Nimblegen and
Agilent.
